Poem: The Birthplace of Hadis

From the womb of which embodied truth have you come your way forth, O warrior!
Who knows which nurse, by what sacred resolve of the great age has raised such a Hadi.

When the motherland will drift in the dark current of injustice,
when monsters will drink dry the rivers.
Then again it will be you who shall be required, O Hadi!
The one who will proclaim,
“Wherever you see injustice, strike, strike!
O fire, blood-voiced youth of the nation!
Strike again the fire-takbir of truth.”

From the thunderous utterance of your mighty voice, the breath that bursts forth,
the motherland draws that very breath into her own chest.
When the country is drowned in tears, crying over the absence of Hadis,
then the vultures laugh thinking they will be able to tear the nation apart and feast.
Yet even today they have failed to understand,
the entire country itself is the birthplace of Usman Hadi.
Hadis are born wrapped in the flag.
At birth they declare, country first.
Otherwise a coward, wrap the flag around your own neck and die.
