Do You Know Me?

Pretense

I did love you blindly,
and though now I see the deceit,
I still pretend to remain blind.
For me, every moment of winning you was pure joy.

A Man’s Sorrow

A man’s sorrow is like a woman’s undergarment,
it must be kept hidden,
lest, if exposed, it be met with ridicule.

Do You Know Me?

Do you ever look at yourself in the mirror?
Have you seen your own smile?
Do you truly know yourself?
Do you know the sound of your own voice,
the one that endlessly plays
love’s flute in my heart?
Have you ever asked yourself
why I love you?
Girl, do you even know me?

Rules

In both prayer and in love,
the intention must remain pure to break the rules is forbidden.
During prayer or love alike,
if you let your gaze wander,
you shatter the rules, you corrupt the intent.
These are noble acts,
and must be fulfilled nobly,
in the noblest way.
Otherwise, be it prayer or love both are in vain.

Fools

The greatest fools are those
who love even after being deceived.
So foolish they are,
that even knowing the truth,
they refuse to accept,
the one beside them is betraying them.
