Difference
In God’s world everything is distributed equally,
fullness and emptiness are spread across the earth in equal measure.
Only to keep creation under control, some receive more, some receive less.
On one side someone leaves out of indifference toward their partner,
and after leaving, they find a new partner, and become complete.
On the other side someone longs for their partner, yet finds no place,
and in the absence of the one who left, their life remains empty.
Desire
As long as my eyes can see the light,
my longing to see you will never fade.
As long as my voice remains in my throat,
my longing to speak to you will not end.
As long as my body holds life,
my desire to unite with you will never be over.
Though I know, you do not wish to be mine.
The love you once showed,
today your excuses to go far away are even greater than that.
Acting - 5
As long as people live, they hold so much envy, so much spite,
so many tricks just to deceive the opposite person.
Yet when that same opposite soul is wrapped in a shroud,
the one who deceived suddenly shows tenderness.
Alas humans, I do not understand!
I do not understand, what do they gain from such acting?
My Complaint Against Love
My complaint against love,
such a deep complaint, you could call it as vast as the sky.
You told me you loved me,
told me you would love me forever and stay,
told me we would share joy and sorrow through life.
You were indeed there in the days of happiness,
but in the days of fire, I could not find you.
Even my heart-shattering cries did not touch your compassion.
After that, how do I trust love again?
Unfulfilled Soul
Exactly how much sorrow you gave me,
I may never be able to measure.
But know this if I could have lived even a single day properly without you,
I would never have looked back at you again.
I would have spent my whole life laughing without you.
Just as unfulfilled is my soul toward you.
Unnecessary Gift
Humans are extremely skilled at unnecessary giving.
When someone is happy,
people around them bring blessings of happiness.
Yet they were already happy,
they needed no more happiness.
But when someone is in sorrow,
people deliberately give them even more sorrow.
Yet they were already drowning in sorrow,
they needed no new grief.
Final Death
Just as a person dies while still alive,
their soul leaving while the breathing body remains,
in the same way, a person may die yet still continue living,
living in the memories of others.
And when people forget even the memory of the dead,
that is the true, final death.
Temptation
What temptation did you show my heart?
Even my own heart is no longer under my control, my beloved!
In all the distance my eyes have seen in this world,
you have given my heart far more pain than that.
Yet it cries only for you,
longs only for you.
Playhouse
You gave me the sorrow anyway!
Then what was the need for so much care,
what was the need to show love?
If you were going to break the playhouse,
then why build it with such affection at all?
Sorrow
I never wanted to lose anything,
yet losing and losing, I lost everything!
I lost my childhood, my adolescence,
lost my school days,
and the age of spending time with my father and mother.
I lost myself in you,
and then I lost you too,
and after losing you, I lost happiness.
Yet one thing stayed with me,
something I tried a hundred times to lose but never could.
Do you know what that is? Sorrow.
