The Worth of a Person

Being Thought a Madman

One should not love a person too much,
one should not go mad for someone.
It makes people truly think you’re mad,
and they devalue you just like a madman.

The Worth of a Person

It is better to keep the one you like quietly in your heart without letting them know.
Once you express it, the person’s worth soars to the sky,
and even if you devote your whole life to them,
that worth can never be repaid.

Used to Breaking

There’s nothing left to break anymore,
as if my beauty lies in breaking, accustomed to fracture,
even sorrow no longer makes me tired today.
Inside I’m not as broken,
but my outer mask looks just as calm.

Impatient

I can indeed be called impatient,
but I no longer expect that one day everything will be fine.
I, too, once used to hope,
but nothing ever turned out right.

Losing Things

Some things we lose through neglect.
And some things remain, the ones we never want to lose,
yet we lack the strength to hold on to them,
and at the end of the day, we lose those too,
against our own unwillingness.
